• Advanced equalization;

• Safety in freediving: barotraumas, decompression sickness, surface intervals, shallow water blackout, and freediver’s code of conduct;

• Training concepts.

AIDA 3 pool

Disciplines:

• Static apnea (STA);

• ⁠⁠Dynamic apnea (DYNB).

Techniques:

• Buoyancy control;

• Training session design.

Additional skills:

• Safety and rescue techniques.

AIDA 3 full – follows the same itinerary as AIDA 3 pool, with the addition of:

• Free immersion (FIM);

• Constant weight bi-fins (CWTB).

Techniques:

• Free fall;

• Advanced equalization.

Additional skills:

• Self-rescue skills: no mask ascent, loss of fin simulation.

AIDA 2 pool (Wellfit)

• 75% score on a written theory exam;

• 2:45 min static breath hold (STA);

• 55 meters underwater swim with fins (DYNB);

• Certification fee.

AIDA 2 full (Deep Dive Dubai)

• 75% score on a written theory exam;

• 2:45 min static breath hold;

• 55 meters underwater swim with fins (DYNB);

• Minimum 24-meter deep dive with constant weight bi-fins (CWTB).
